Multidomain Systems: Electronic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical Subsystems of an Universal Testing Machine Modeled with Modelica
نویسنده
چکیده
The Simulation of hydraulic or electronic systems has been state of the art for a long time. For both of these domains there exist highly specialized simulation programs which can be regarded as a kind of industrial standards. Often problems arise if different domains of technology occur within one system and very detailed models are needed. As an example a universal testing machine is presented which consists of hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic component systems. Each component is modeled fully detailed using the Modelica language [1]. Without coupling of simulators the whole simulation model can be investigated by one tool.

RAM analysis of earth pressure balance tunnel boring machines: A case study
Earth pressure balance tunnel boring machines (EPB-TBMs) are favorably applied in urban tunneling projects. Despite their numerous advantages, considerable delays and high maintenance cost are the main disadvantages these machines suffer from. Reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis is a practical technique that uses failure and repair dataset obtained over a reasonable ti...

Modelica is an object-oriented language for modeling of large and heterogeneous physical systems. Typical applications include mechatronic models in automotive and aerospace applications involving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic subsystems as well as control systems. Modeling of an ideal diode and Coulomb friction is discussed to illustrate the unique hybrid features of Modelica. The langu...
متن کاملModelica - A Language for Equation-Based Physical Modeling and High Performance Simulation
A new language called Modelica for hierarchical physical modeling is developed through an international effort. Modelica 1.0 [http:// www.Dynasim.se/Modelica] was announced in September 1997. It is an objectoriented language for modeling of physical systems for the purpose of efficient simulation. The language unifies and generalizes previous object-oriented modeling languages and techniques. C...
